COSTAS EVANGELATOS « BODYGRAPHICS ».- La poète Edna Millay écrit à sa collection entitrée « Entrevue fatale » : seulement Eukledes a vu la bauté nue ! Cela signifie, bien-sur, que le premier fondateur de la Géométrie de l’ espace tridimensionnelle a pu voir et concevoir la poésie pure et la beauté ajoutées par les proportions de notre Monde. Comparé avec le Monde, le corps humain peut être considèré comme une miniature composante des forces et des relations qui dirigent l’ univers. La vision et l’ étude du corps a mené l’ être humain, dès l’ époque paléolithique, comme ceci se montre par les fresques excellentes des caves, à la représentation du corps. A travers les siècles, le Corps comme objet sensuel a été restitué de chaque approche figurative possible. La vision attentive et l’ étude du corps, m’ a mené à sa représentation figurative, qui provient certainement de mon effort pour une dénaturation des proportions distinguée par ma vision et imagination. Mes « bodygraphics » sont des compositions faites avec des paries du corps nu, lesquelles expriment une situation mentale en dépit de l’ absence du visage. Les corps sont incises avec des indications que selon mon avis, ajoutent une dimension sensentielle (amoureuse) et cérébrale à l’ Unité corporelle. Cette Unité a, quand-meme, été changée et c’est pour cette raison que tout le tout ne se représente mais seulement le partiel. L’incision des noms, des relations de mathématiques et de géométrie, des symboles philosophiques contribue, à travers l’ apparition de l’ esprit dans le corps, à la réfutation du changement et elle contribue à l’ accentuation de l’ opinion sur le Corps=Univers. L’ excentrique conception colorée de mes « bodygraphics », qui surgent dans l’ espace en un mouvement, mène au changement sensuel de l’Image du carnet cérébral à un motive sensatiel. Un motive qui féconde et reproduit la beauté nue de notre monde. -------------------------------------------------- COSTAS EVANGELATOS « BODYGRAPHICS » The poet Edna Millay writes in her collection entitled « fatal interview » : only Euclid’s has seen the naked beauty ! Of course he means that the leading founder of Geometry of the 3-dimentional space could see and conceive the true poetry and beauty deriving from the proportions of our world. In comparison with the World, the human body can be considered as a resultant miniature of the powers and relations governing the Universe. The observation and study of the body led the human being, since the Paleolithic era, as proved through the excellent frescos of the caves, to the body’s representation. In the course of the centuries, the Body as an aesthetic object has been rendered in every possible figurative approach. The attentive observation and study of the body led me to its figurative representation which certainly originates from my effort for a viable transformation of the proportions distinguished by my vision and imagination. My “body graphics” are compositions with parts of the nude body which express a mental situation despite the face’s absence. The bodies are approved with semantic indications which, according to my opinion, impart a sensual (erotic) and cerebral dimension on the corporeal Unit. This unit has, however, been altered and for this reason the complete is not depicted but the partial. The engraving of the names, math’s and geometrical relations, philosophic symbols contributes to the refusal of the alteration through the appearance of the mind in the body and it also contributes to the accentuation of the opinion about the Body=Union. The eccentric colored conception of my “body graphics”, which emerge in the space in one movement, leads to the aesthetic change of the Image from a cerebral notebook to a sensual motive. A motive which inseminates and reproduces the naked beauty of our world.- ------------------------------------- ΚΩΣΤΑΣ ΕΥΑΓΓΕΛΑΤΟΣ-ΣΩΜΑΤΟΓΡΑΦΙΕΣ Η ποιήτρια Edna Millay γράφει στην ποιητική της συλλογή με τίτλο "Μοιραία συνέντευξη":...Μόνον ο Ευκλείδης είδε την ομορφιά γυμνή. Εννοεί βέβαια ότι ο κορυφαίος θεμελιωτής της Γεωμετρίας του τρισδιάστατου χώρου μπόρεσε να συλλάβει και να αντικρίσει την καθαρή ποίηση και την ομορφιά που προσδίδουν οι αρμονικές αναλογίες του Κόσμου μας. Σε αντιπαράθεση με τον Κόσμο,το ανθρώπινο σώμα μπορεί να θεωρηθεί σαν μία συνισταμένη μικρογραφία των δυνάμεων και των σχέσεων που διέπουν το σύμπαν. Η θέαση,η αφή και η μελέτη του σώματος οδήγησε τον άνθρωπο από την παλαιολιθική εποχή,όπως καταδεικνύουν έξοχες τοιχογραφίες σπηλαίων στην απεικόνιση του. Στην πορεία των αιώνων το σώμα σαν αισθητικό αντικείμενο έχει αποδοθεί με κάθε δυνατή εικαστική προσέγγιση και ερμηνεία. Η επισταμένη ανατομική μελέτη του σώματος,με ώθησε στην εικαστική του απεικόνιση,η οποία προέρχεται από την προσπάθεια μου,για βιωματική μετουσίωση των αναλογιών που η όραση και η φαντασία μου διακρίνουν. Οι Σωματογραφίες μου είναι συνθέσεις με το γυμνό ανθρώπινο σώμα,οι οποίες παρόλο που συχνά απουσιάζει το πρόσωπο,εκφράζουν ποικίλες ψυχικές καταστάσεις. Τα σώματα είναι χαραγμένα με εννοιολογικές ενδείξεις και σύμβολα,που κατά την άποψη μου προσδίδουν αισθησιακή {ερωτική} και εγκεφαλική διάσταση στη σωματική Μονάδα.Η ιδιότυπη γραφή ονομάτων και άλλων εννοιών συντείνει με την φόρμα στον τονισμό της άποψης ότι Σώμα=Σύμπαν. Η ποιητική χρωματική αντίληψη των σωματογραφιών μου, που με μία εν δυνάμει κίνηση αναδύονται και εγγράφονται στο χώρο, συντελεί στην αισθητική μεταβολή της εικόνας σε αισθησιακό κίνητρο.
